Iole - little (really tiny) independent guide to the city of Trento
WHAT
I sometimes cooperate with an association of a young students of Trento. This year the association organize an Euregio Simulation of the Europe decision-making process. The simulation take place in Trento, hosting students from Bolzano and Innsbruck universities.
All the students will stay in Trento for 4 days, taking part to the event during the day.
With the association we thought it could be important for us to make the students know the city of Trento, by giving them a little gadget (they're a no profit association ♥, so mainly for money affair, we couldn't design a big book with so many pages).

HOW
I named the little guide Iole, because the name Iole derives from the Greek iole and means Violetta, from the name of the mountain flower. Trento is the city where I was born, and I'm sure my city is female. It’s female because she’s poetic and because she can assume the calm tones of the lakes that surround her and the rebel ones that, since the 1960s, resonate through the walls of the sociology faculty.
I realized the sketches of some architectural parts of Trento (Torre Civica, Duomo, Buonconsiglio Castle, Torre Verde and Torre Vanga, Muse), while I was waiting for the advice from my Instagram friends. I've never considered the power of Instagram questions, so I tried them for this personal and inspirational case.

1. Where would you take a friend who has never been to Trento? / 2. Bookshop, places and bars in general in the city center / 3. The more poetical lake / A walk that refreshes your mind and cheers the heart.

WHY
Trentino is a really amazing region but there isn't a guide that cover all the fascinating stories that it has. This little guide inspire me to make a bigger project with a friend of mine. It would be beautiful if it'll be co-participating as I tried to do in this experiment.
